Effective as of October 7th, 2026.

Introduction:

Welcome to Offline Media, Inc. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") and the accompanying Marketing Communication Consent govern how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, and outline your consent for receiving marketing communications from us.

Acceptance and Modifications:

Your engagement with our Services indicates your acceptance of this Policy. We reserve the right to update or modify this Policy at any time. Continued use of our Services after such changes constitutes your consent to the updated Policy.

1. Information Collection and Usage:

Personal Identification Information:

We collect personal information (name, email address, phone number, etc.) when you voluntarily provide it to us, typically through forms, registrations, or inquiries.

We collect only the information needed to provide our service—typically your name, email, phone number, and payment details. All traffic between your device and our servers is protected with SSL/TLS, and database backups are encrypted. Credit-card details go straight to our payment processor and never touch our servers; we keep only the last four digits and billing address for support and fraud-prevention. We limit access to personal data, share it only with essential subprocessors, and disclose information to third parties solely when required by law or to investigate abuse.

Non-personal Information:

We may collect non-personal data such as browser type, device information, and usage patterns to improve our Services.

Cookies:

Our Services may use cookies to enhance your experience. You can choose to accept or decline cookies, but this may affect your use of our Services.

Advertising choices:

You may opt-out of receiving targeted online advertising on websites through members of the Network Advertising Initiative at http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices or the Digital Advertising Alliance at http://www.aboutads.info/choices. You may opt out of receiving targeted advertising in mobile apps through participating members of the Digital Advertising Alliance in the AppChoices mobile app, available at https://www.youradchoices.com/appchoices. Please note that we also may work with companies that offer their own opt-out mechanisms and may not participate in the opt-out mechanisms linked above. In addition, your mobile device settings may provide functionality to limit use of the advertising ID associated with your mobile device for targeted online advertising purposes. If you choose to opt out of targeted online advertisements, you will still see advertisements online but they may be less relevant to you. Not all companies participate in these opt-out programs, so even after opting out through them, you may still receive some cookies and interest-based from other companies. You may also review additional options at https://policies.google.com/privacy/

9. Hot List Voting:

This section covers voting on the Offline Hot List. It adds to the rest of this Policy, which also applies.

What we collect:

  • Your email address, which you enter to sign in and vote. We keep it with the date you signed up and the date you were last active.
  • Your votes: which places you voted for, and on which day. Vote totals are shown publicly; who voted for what is not.
  • Your IP address when you request a sign-in code. We use it only to limit how many codes can be sent and to check for bots.
  • A sign-in cookie (hl_voter) that keeps you signed in for one year. It is HttpOnly and secure, and it is not used for tracking or advertising.

How we use it:

  • To email you a 6-digit sign-in code. The code expires after 10 minutes.
  • To count votes and limit each person to 5 votes per day.
  • To stay in touch: signing in to vote means Offline Media, Inc. keeps your email address and may contact you about Offline, as described in Section 3. You can unsubscribe from any email, or ask us to delete your email and votes at any time (see below).

Services that process it:

  • Cloudflare hosts the Hot List and stores its data and photos. Cloudflare Turnstile, the bot check on the sign-in form, receives your IP address.
  • Resend sends the sign-in emails, so it receives your email address.
  • Google Maps shows the map. When you open the map, Google receives your IP address and browser details under Google's Privacy Policy.

How long we keep it:

  • Your email address and vote history: until you ask us to delete them.
  • Sign-in sessions: one year.
  • Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes. Records of code requests (the email address, IP address and time) are kept for security and to prevent abuse.

Access and deletion:

To see the data we hold about you, or to have your email and votes deleted, email support@letsgetoffline.com from the address you vote with.
